L. Ron Hubbard's Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest winners come from a variety of backgrounds and ages in 2013

This quarter's contest winners, upon analysis of all entries are just as diverse as any previous quarter of the contest, with a chemistry teacher from California, a housewife from Colorado, a real estate agent from Wisconsin and three art students in illustration, and they range in age from 17 years to 54 years of age. This simply proves the point, anyone with writing talent can enter and win.

This vehicle for supporting budding authors is the free-to-enter global contest called L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future, now in its 30th year. Created by best-selling author L. Ron Hubbard, the merit-based Writers of the Future Contest was initiated to discover and encourage talented beginning writers of science fiction and fantasy. Quarterly winners of the Contest appear in the best-selling annual anthology, receive cash prizes, and attend an all-expenses paid gala awards ceremony and writing workshop. A sister contest, Illustrators of the Future was formed five years later and gives the same career launch for new illustrators.

Contest judge and lead workshop instructor for the writers contest and author of On Stranger Tides, Tim Powers, says to winners every year "don't quit your day job. Keep at it whenever you can, and your passion for writing will guide you through, evenings, weekends, whenever you can."

Cliff Nielsen, the illustrator lead workshop instructor for the illustrators side of the contest says something similar to his workshop. "Try to get a job in any aspect of the field of arts when you are starting out. You then won't get disassociated with the field while you hone your craft and send out your work."

Articulture Studio Z Announces Car Giveaway

Fort Myers tattoo shop announces a special giveaway for one lucky recipient at the end of summer 2013. Articulture Studio Z tattoo shop will have a drawing to give a classic car away if at least 399 customers come in and get, or at least schedule and pay for, a $399 All You Can Sit tattoo session. The car is a 1950 classic Chevrolet 2 door hard top Coupe. Everyone who purchases the special tattoo session will be automatically entered.

The All You Can Sit promotion provides anyone who wishes to get a large tattoo or a cover-up tattoo the opportunity to do so at a fraction of what it would normally cost anywhere else. The clients taking advantage of this deal can get all the body art they would like done for as long as they can sit and receive it.

This special $399 dollar All You Can Sit tattoo deal is a real bargain, said Articulture Studio Z Founder, John Improta. We want to get peoples attention and let them know what kind of value they can get for such a small price. We think that by putting this classic car up for a giveaway, it will get their attention. They could end up with not only an amazing work of body art, but a beautiful classic car as well!

The deadline for the customer count will be the last day of summer 2013. For the drawing to take place, it is required that by then at least 399 customers must come in and purchase the All You Can Sit special. Those pre-paying for the service or making the required minimum deposit will qualify as well, even if the customer does not get the tattoo right away. For those considering getting a tattoo, or getting correctional cover-up work done over an unwanted tattoo, scar or birthmark, this summer would be a good time to do so.

For those wishing to see the car that is to be given away in the drawing, it is on display at the Articulture Studio Z Fort Myers Tattoo shop. The shop is located at 1529 Lee Street. It is a state-of-the-art facility, and is unlike any other tattoo establishment in the entire state of Florida. It is highly regarded in the area, and in addition to high quality tattoos, they provide body piercing, logo design, airbrushing and custom artwork.

The interior of the shop is a lounge setting, complete with billiard tables and even special music performances from time to time. Its reputation is that of a shop where other tattoo artists would like to come to get their tattoos done.

Appointments may be made at Articulture Studio Z 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is to accommodate those that work odd times or night shifts. This is just one example of the first rate customer service they offer. It is a simple phone call to schedule an appointment for any hour of the day.

To take advantage of the All You Can Sit special and to be entered in the drawing for the 1950 Chevrolet Coupe, contact Articulture Studio at 239-232-1502 or 239-600-7145 and speak to a body art professional.
