IIP goes philanthropic, joins hands with Smile Foundation

Noida-based, Indian Institute of Photography - Indias premier photography Institute has joined hands with Smile Foundation as part of its humanitarian mission to promote ethical social change and foster a universal sense of social responsibility to empower underprivileged children by providing innovative and market-focused photography training.

Indian Institute of Photography is a name that goes hand in hand with photography enthusiasts in the region, has introduced itself as a trendsetter in the growing photography learning industry. Today, the Institute prides itself on its student-centric approach and its handling of photography as a professional and vocational subject while conducting its training activities based on the guiding principle of contributing towards a prosperous society.
The Institute has taken a giant leap in the walk of philanthropy to fulfill its corporate social responsibility by joining hands with Smile Foundation - one such catalyst that works towards the needs of development while helping corporate in their social initiatives.
With multiple modes of partnerships like Payroll Giving, Cause Related Marketing, Direct Child Support and Youth Support, Smile Foundation helps corporate in strengthening their CSR programmes by letting them adopt, initiate or partner development projects.
Indian Institute of Photography, in partnership with Smile Foundation, will impart photography training to the underprivileged children associated with the NGO and beyond that the Institute will be granting %% of the total revenue generated from all its training programmes to The Foundation.
While expressing his views on this important partnership, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Director IIP, said, For us, at Indian Institute of Photography, corporate responsibility is the way we do business but we see social responsibility as our solemn pledge to the community. The social responsibility that we have decided to fulfill through our partnership with Smile Foundation, involves charity work that has no direct financial benefits to the Institute. We have very minutely realized that the state alone could not solve the problems of communities; therefore it is the need of the hour to support volunteerism aimed at assisting the needy and the underprivileged. The Smile Foundation has changed the lives of thousands of underprivileged children while rendering exemplary services to the humanity. Through this partnership, we will do our best to bring all possible changes by our Photography Training Programmes.
